Wooden Sign Using Paint Samples

If you follow Sewing and Crafting with Sarah on facebook you know that all I have been talking is paint.  I have been a mad woman painting all my hallways!  The hallways are the worst in my home because my kids touch the walls going up and down the stairs and through the halls.  In an effort to find the perfect colors for my hallways I collected a few paint samples.  I decided to use the paint samples of colors that I chose to make a wooden sign.  I love how it coordinates everything together.

Materials Used:
Unfinished Wooden Sign (Michael's)
DIY 3D Craft Accents (Michael's)
Peel and Stick Sentiment (Dollar Tree)
Wood Glue (Darice)
Sample Paints

Instructions:
1. I first did a quick sand of the sign and then I used a damp cloth to wash away the dust.  Then I got ready to paint.

2. Once the sign was painted I added the peel and stick sentiment.

3.  I then started to paint the 3D birds.

4. Once the birds were dry I glued them onto the sign.

5. Lastly, I just needed to hang the sign in my (freshly painted) downstairs hallway.
